Absolutely stunning early staffordshire child's plate. This is a great addition to any staffordshire collection with beautiful molding, handpainting and transfer. It says "hush my dear lie still and slumber holy angels guard thy bed,heavenly blessings without number gently falling on thy head". This would make an amazing addition to a nursery as well. It is absolutely the sweetest poem. Measures 6 inches across, and I noted 1 chip as pictured and some light discoloration near the edges.
